The Stone Which the Builders Rejected-PART 1
2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,
as they do also the other scriptures,
unto their own destruction.
The NIV says distort instead of wrest.
Do you get the impression they want you to obey them?
Funny, because Peter in the book of Acts does distort the scripture a few times! And so does Paul! And Matthew!
Of course, I think Peter was redressed and rendered another way to deceive.
Here is one example:
Acts 1:20
20For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
Peter misquotes and distorts scripture, because it does not say the above in Psalms!
Who is kidding who?
WHILE WE ARE AT IT …….HOW DOES PETER KNOW HOW JUDAS DIED? WAS HE A WITNESS?
ACTS 1:16-19
16Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.17For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.18Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.19And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.
How did everyone know that Judas died this way?
Who told them?
SO we have Peter misquoting scripture and he knows how Judas died as if he were a witness.
The only people to mention Aceldama
is Peter
in the book of Acts!
Let’s not forget that the Book of Acts was written by Luke (Paul’s compadre)
The Gospel of Matthew is the only other reference in the bible to this “The Field of Blood” :
Matthew 27:7-9
7And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in.8Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.9Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
And then he misquotes the Prophet Jeremy.
This is not in the Book of Jeremiah,
but it is in the book of Zechariah:
Zechariah 11:11-13
11And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.12And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.13And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
So we have The Gospel of Matthew misquoting scripture saying AND putting his own spin on the meaning!
HOW DOES THE AUTHOR OF THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW
KNOW HOW MUCH SILVER WAS GIVEN IN EXCHANGE FOR THE PRICE OF JESUS?
And how does Peter know?
Are they in cahoots?
Matthew 26:58
But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.The Gospel of John says nothing about it!
Wouldn’t the author of the Gospel of John have written about these major details in his gospel, if it were true?
So when Peter says:
2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Now it seems to begin to make sense, at least to me, that it is a threat!
Why do I think that it’s a threat?
Because “someone” was hung and his bowels gushed out and the author of the gospel of Matthew and the author of the book of Acts (Luke) and Peter seem to know some details of this “SUICIDE” and “EXCHANGE OF TALENTS” that seems to me would not be public knowledge!
Or was this a public hanging?
The Gospel of John does not say anything about it. You would think it would be in his gospel, but it’s not?
Matthew 21:42
42Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner:
this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
43Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
What nation? What fruit? Tired of figs and now they want grapes?
How was anything improved by moving power from Israel to Rome?
Which God are we speaking about in Matthew?
Apollo · Bacchus (Liber) · Bona Dea · Castor and Pollux · Ceres · Cupid · Diana · Dis Pater · Faunus · Genius · Hercules ·Janus · Juno· Jupiter · Lares · Mars · Mercury · Minerva · Orcus · Neptune · Penates · Pluto · Priapus · Proserpina · Quirinus ·Saturn · Silvanus · Sol· Venus · Vesta · Vulcan
(We’ll get around to talking about Quirinus in Part 2 of this post!)
Which kingdom of God is Matthew talking about?
Kingdom of God
I looked up the phrase kingdom of God and linked it. It looks to me like Luke knows more about the kingdom of God than anyone,
because he speaks about it the most, especially if you include what he writes in the Book of Acts.
John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Mark 12:10-11
10And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: 11This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Luke 20:16-18
17And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written,
The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
Now Luke gets a bit nasty!
18Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken;
but on whomsoever it shall fall,
it will grind him to powder.
WOW! ANOTHER THREAT!
Remember the threat Peter made about destruction if anyone questions Paul’s epistles or scripture!
Yet he can’t seem to get it right!
===================
Notice that Luke’s first statement ends with a question mark.
=================================================
This saying is not in the gospel of John!
===========================================
What scripture is the Synoptic Jesus of the Synoptic Gospels
referring to when he says:
Did you never read in the scriptures (gospel of Matthew),
have ye not read this scripture (gospel of Mark),
What is this then that is written (gospel of Luke)?
************************
It is the verse in Psalms:
Psalm 118:22
22The stone which the builders refused is
become the head stone of the corner.
Why do the verses in the Synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke
exclude the word
Head stone?
ANOTHER MISQUOTE OF SCRIPTURE!
I think the word “STONE” has some meaning that Matthew, Mark and Luke
are refusing/rejecting for another reason,
or why do they collectively omit the word “STONE”
Didn’t they know that Psalm 118:22 said HEADSTONE, not HEAD?
Headstone
A headstone, tombstone, or gravestone is a marker, normally carved from stone, placed over or next to the site of a burial in a cemetery or elsewhere.
John 8:59
59Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
I get the impression from this verse that stones aren’t necessarily good,
and maybe that is why Matthew, Mark and Luke
omitted the word STONE in their quoting of Psalms above in this article.
They rearranged the wording of Psalms 118:22 to have another meaning!
Sure is a lot of finagling goin’ on!
The Synoptic Jesus of the Synoptic Gospels is misquoting scripture
and that should alarm you that something is not right with the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew Mark and Luke’s) account of Jesus.
Why do they have Jesus misrepresenting scripture?
One word can make a great deal of difference!
This is DOUBLESPEAK!
DECEPTION!
Distortion!
Matthew 21:31-41
33Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
34And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
35And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
36Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
37But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
38But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
39And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
40When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
41They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
If God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believed in Him would not perish but have everlasting life is true….
Which I believe it to be true
Then what is the above parable about?
I believe it is about the false Jesus
created in the Synoptic Gospels.
Most of my articles are about the gigantic contradictions in the Synoptic Gospels
and their antitheses of the Gospel of John and mockery of Jesus and his disciples.
The husbandman is God!
At least, the husbandman is God in the Gospel of John!
John 15:1
I am the true vine,
and my Father is the husbandman.
If you do a word search in the bible online of the word husbandman it comes up with 7 verses in the King James Version,
but if you do a word search of the same word in the New International Version there are none.
Do you get the impression that there are some people that don’t want you to know that the husbandman is GOD the Father?
And there are no other husbandmen!
Nobody other than God the Father is God,
so how can there be other husbandmen?
This Parable is also not in the Gospel of John!
Yet, we know that the writer of the gospel of John was a witness, because of his inclusion of details that the other gospel authors either omit or gloss over. The reason they omit the details is because they don’t know the details which is quite obvious if you do a comparison of the gospels.
When Jesus said, “I am the true vine and my Father is the husbandman” do you suppose he knew that this parable would be included in the gospels and was trying to tell us that the other non-witnesses of Jesus are false witnesses and are speaking of their own imaginations ie.
putting words into Jesus’s mouth saying he said things
that he never said or did?
In the gospel of John at the Last Supper Jesus tells the disciples
John 15:27
27And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
The other three gospels omit this!
They were not witnesses
and were not with Him from the beginning!
Jesus also says that he lays down his life
so the parable above makes no sense to me
unless the Synoptics are talking about a false Jesus, a copycat!
John 10:17-18
17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of my Father.
